You wouldn't wait to change your sheets...

Though your carpets and your sheets aren't much different. They are both fibers and the both need to be maintained properly or they can become dingy and for unwanted odors. No you don't have to clean your carpets once a week, but vacuuming once a week is very important and a professional cleaning every 3-6 months will maintain that fabulous look as when you first purchased your investment.
